DIY coconut oil face mask
There are different kinds of coconut oil face masks for different skin types. Coconut oil is one of the best natural skin care products from nature. The benefits of coconut oil are plentiful - from skin care and hair care to digestion and heart health. This oil is natures natural miracle. Here are a few of my favorite face masks that help my skin so much! The best part is, all the ingredients in these face masks are natural and nothing that will irritate your skin or harsh chemicals that are bad for your body. Making sure you using all natural products on a consistent basis is vital because it keeps your body from taking in all the harsh chemicals and eventually getting into your blood stream which will affect the way you feel and your body will not be functioning at its best because it has these chemicals slowing it down. I came to realize that how you take care of yourself has a lot to do with who you are. People that are not health conscious and eat anything and everything, use anything on their body are not working at their full potential! It feels great when you know your taking care of your body and giving it the best things for it. Who cares if natural food/skin products are a little more expensive, its worth it because you know your getting the optimum results from your body and YOU ARE WORTH IT!

1. Oatmeal Coconut Face mask for Acne Prone skin

1. Oatmeal Coconut Face mask for Acne Prone skin
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 3 tbsp. oatmeal
- Warm water
Procedure:
- Put oatmeal in a bowl and pour in enough warm water to create a paste-like substance.
- Mix warm coconut oil in with the oatmeal
- Apply the mixture to your face, and exfoliate your skin by gently rubbing in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes.
- Leave the mixture on for 15 minutes.
2. Lemon, Yogurt and Coconut Oil Face Mask For Oily Skin
Ingredients:
- ½ tbsp. coconut oil
- ½ tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. yogurt
Procedure:
- Mix coconut oil, lemon and yogurt in a bowl.
- Apply to clean skin and wait 15 minutes.
3. Baking Soda and Coconut Oil Mask For Blackheads
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Procedure:
- Mix 1 tbsp. coconut oil with 1 tsp. baking soda to form a paste.
- Apply directly to your skin focusing on areas where blackheads are more common - nose, chin etc.
- Rub gently with your fingers in a circular motion for 5-10 minutes.
4. Honey, Green Tea and Coconut Oil Face Mask For Radiant skin
Ingredients:
1 tsp. coconut oil
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. green tea leaves
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. green tea leaves
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Procedure:
- Mix together honey, coconut oil, lemon juice and green tea leaves in a bowl. This can be done with a fork or a whisk, just make sure it is thoroughly mixed together and that the coconut oil is not separating.
- Spread the mixture evenly on your face
Coconut Oil and Turmeric Mask to Lighten Skin
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil or Pure Fiji Bath and Body Coconut Oil
- 1 pinch turmeric
Procedure:
- Mix coconut oil and turmeric together in a bowl.
- Apply to clean and leave on for 15 minutes.
- Rinse your face with cold water
6. Anti-Aging Mask, Coconut Oil and Avocado
Ingredients:
- ¼ ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- ½ tsp. nutmeg
Procedure:
- Mash one avocado with a fork or spoon.
- Mix in the nutmeg and coconut oil
- Apply to your face and leave on for 15 minutes.
- Rinse off with cold water
