Pumpkin Spice Vegan smoothie
During fall and winter I use every excuse to add Pumpkin to my favorite recipes, Pumpkin is a great immune builder and also high in Vitamin C and is also great for the heart. Its also high in fiber so you feel full longer which is great for when you want to eat less and feel satisfied. Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup vanilla coconut yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup coconut or Almond milk
- 2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2/3 cup organic pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
- 1 cup ice
My second recipe is a protein pumpkin smoothie
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup vanilla Vega protein powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup coconut or Almond milk
2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup carrots
2 tablespoons Chia seeds (for added protein)
1 cup ice
